About the role: We are currently seeking an experienced  Facility Care Coordinator  to join the team at our  40 bed facility at Vasey RSL Care Brighton on a permanent full time basis.  The Facility Care Co-ordinator role is part of the facility care and management team. Working closely with the Residential Manager, you will be responsible for the clinical care of residents, and management of care staff, and assisting with developing, managing, and evaluating facility performance, and to deputise for the Residential Manager. We are looking from you, who have: Current registration as a  Division 1 Nurse in Victoria Minimum 2 years experience in a similar supervisory role Demonstrate contemporary clinical nursing skills Ability to supervise, lead and motivate  a team of care staff to provide a high standard of service Proven good communication and interpersonal skills including ability to liaise with key stakeholders Ability to comply with Vasey RSL Care’s bare below the elbows policy Ability to wear clothing compatible with safe manual handling requirements of the role If you also have previous experience working in an aged care facility or have undergone dementia care training would be an added advantage.
