Five Good Friends, Australia's most innovative home care service is looking for Helpers in Rochedale, QLD to provide 24 hour support for a Member.

Here's how you will be helping
We are currently recruiting for Helpers to provide 24/7 care for an elderly gentleman living at home with his wife. The Member lives with Dementia and the family require additional support to ensure he is able to remain living in his own home. The ideal Helper will have Aged Care experience. It would be a bonus if the Helper can speak Greek fluently (however this is not a must).
Visits available from Monday - Sunday, starting at 8am for 24 hour shifts
- Personal Care - e.g. showering, dressing
- Domestic Assistance - e.g. cleaning, cooking, laundry, shopping
- Companionship - e.g. providing company through friendships, interests and activities
- Driving and Community Access - e.g. driving to appointments, shops, outings if needed
What is needed to apply for this opportunity
- Your own ABN as an Independent Contractor (or prepared to obtain one)
- A successful National Police Check issued within the past 2.5years (or willing to apply)
- Dementia experience beneficial
- Greek language skills would be beneficial but not mandatory
- Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support or equivalent experience
- Driver's License and own vehicle required
- Smartphone to use the Five Good Friends App Lookout
