Here's how you will be helping
We have a delightful Member who is looking for Helpers to provide day to day support so she can remaining living at home independently with her beloved cat. She has a very supportive family and social network and enjoys going out once a week with her friends for a coffee. This Member loves to go for a walk, and is passionate about football and travelling. She has described her ideal Helper as someone who is friendly, loves a chat, and will enjoy going for walks with her.
Visits: 7 days a week (9 - 11am & 6.30 - 7.30pm) - there will also be opportunities to work with other Members in the surrounding suburbs
The Member will require support with the following:
- Personal Care - assistance with showering
- Domestic Assistance - cleaning, preparing and cooking meals (her family will create a list of her preferred meals)
- Companionship - providing company through friendships, interests and activities
- Driving and Community Access - driving to appointments, shops, outings if needed
What is needed to apply for this opportunity
- Your own ABN as an Independent Contractor (or prepared to obtain one)
- A successful National Police Check issued within the past 2.5years (or willing to apply)
- Certificate III in Aged Care/ Disabilities/Individual Support or above would be beneficial
- Professional experience with Aged Care/Disability Support essential
- Driver's License and own vehicle preferred
- Smartphone to use the Five Good Friends App Lookout
