About the role

We are currently looking for a Mental Health Support Worker Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm who is looking for a position supporting clients with; 

  • Assist people to get out and about in the community, such as shopping, medical appointments, 
  • Support increase social participation 
  • Domestic assistance 
  • Personal care including, helping people shower, getting dressed and performing daily activities, meal prep, laundry etc. 
  • Medication 
  • Some transportation. 

You must have worked  within mental health and have a good knowledge of how to support individuals with, Anxiety, Depression and Schizophrenia.

Your Skills and Experience

To be successful in the role, you will require the following:

  • experience working in the role of a support work or similar
  • Fully Vaccinated COVID19 (2 x Dose)
  • NDIS worker screening clearance
  • National Police Clearance Certificate 
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Working With Children Check
  • a current Drivers Licence (P2 or above) and access to a reliable vehicle.
